A group of Christian Danish Vikings landed on the Cornwall coast, and formed an alliance with the Cornish to fight against Wessex.
France
A Danish chief named Halfdan swore allegiance to Charlemagne for protection. 
Ireland
Vikings raided the coast of Connacht Ireland, Annals of Ulster tells: "The heathens burned Inis Muiredaig and invaded Ros Comáin.". The Irish tribes fought back " .A slaughter was made of the foreigners by the men of Umaill."


Northern England
Vikings were defeated in Northumbria and Glamorganshire
Scotland
The Vikings had won a foothold upon the island of Lindisfarne, they raided the monasteries at Roscam, Man, Iona and Inismurray.
