Vikings plundering a monastery

The famous Scottish monastery island Iona was plundered the third time and vikings killed 68 monks at Martyrs Bay, just south of the Ferry landing. It was also looted in 795 and 802 and was also looted a final fourth time in 825 the monastery, because of the exposed position, it was abandoned.
St Blathmac refused to leave the island and was killed by vikings for refusing to reveal where the treasures and relics of Columba was hidden.
